Coverage for pollution claims arising from any contractor’s covered and completed operations. May be written to include Mold coverage.

Representative Risks: Asbestos and lead abatement, remediation, emergency response, storage tank installation/removal, painting, plumbing, electrical, general construction, grading, excavation, HVAC, mold remediation, drilling, industrial cleaning, dredging, pipeline, sewer and septic, wrecking, roofing, insulation, carpentry, etc. All types of contractors can be considered for pollution coverage.


 Environmental Consultants and Professional’s Liability

Provides coverage for insureds who could potentially have both pollution and professional claims.

Representative Risks: Environmental Consultants, Industrial Hygienists, Testing Laboratories, Wetlands Delineators, Permitting & Compliance Consultants, Waste Brokers, Remedial Design Engineering, Mold/Indoor Air Quality Consultants, Property Managers, etc. All entities with professional exposures can be considered for coverage.


Site Specific Pollution Liability

Offers both on-site and off-site clean up, as well as coverage for third party bodily injury and property damage for scheduled locations.

Representative Risks: Landfills, agricultural, office buildings, dry cleaners, airports, storage facilities, warehouses, marinas, manufacturing, bulk storage, TSDS, car dealerships, golf courses, water and wastewater facilities, recycling facilities, biofuel facilities, medical facilities, etc. Any fixed facilities can be considered for coverage.

Habitational properties, including: senior care centers, assisted living facilities, rehab centers, hospice care facilities, colleges & boarding schools, hotels, resorts, etc.


Underground/Aboveground Storage Tanks

Provides coverage for cleanup costs at a tank owner’s/operator’s facility due to releases from scheduled tanks on the policy.

Representative Risks: Gas stations, convenience stores, schools, golf courses, car dealerships, and airports. Tank owners and operators needing evidence of financial responsibility should also consider obtaining this coverage.


Property Transfer and Lender Liability

Site pollution coverage for properties that have changed hands; protects the new owner from any pre-existing issues.

Representative Risks: Commercial and residential properties, properties being purchased or sold, refinancing, donated properties, inherited properties. Where coverage is needed by lender, seller, or buyer.


Transportation Waste and Materials

Offers coverage for insureds that need protection for pollution conditions caused by transporting materials. Can be written stand-alone or with other coverages.

Representative Risks: Transporters of hazardous waste, hazardous materials, contaminated soils, petroleum products, chemicals, asbestos, etc. Contractors with waste or materials transportation exposures. Consultants transporting testing chemicals or samples. All automobile exposures for which an MCS-90 is required can be considered.


Products Pollution

Available for all parties responsible for a product where its failure may cause a pollution condition.

Representative Risks: Manufacturing, blending, and/or distributing of chemicals, solvents, pesticides, etc.


Manufacturing Risks

Provides pollution coverage for all environmental and non-environmental companies that manufacture or produce goods.

Representative Risks: Furniture, textile, paper, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, remediation equipment, storage tanks, insulation, etc.
