What Separates BHA Service from Other Brokers?

Beacon Hill Associates offers service that goes beyond what you might find at other wholesale insurance brokerage companies.  Once an account is bound, any mid-term questions or changes are handled by a dedicated Service Team member, who will get to know each account individually and can provide a consistent resource for you and your clients. However, our Service Team consists of several different people in two different offices, so if your specific contact is not available, there should still be someone who can help you with any urgent issues that come up. Our Service Team contact email, service@b-h-a.com, reaches the entire team, so you don’t have to work to track down someone who is available. We share information and document our files extensively so that anyone who touches an account has access to the full history of any request, and should be able to step in to help resolve situations that arise.

Our Service Team also works closely with our Production Team to provide a knowledgeable resource for all of our environmental policies. While the Service Team members get to know specific accounts and have a good background on coverages, the Production Account Executives have decades of combined experience and a broad scope of expertise and can help with more difficult or complex issues that require extra attention.  If a requirement necessitates writing an additional line of coverage, your Account Executive will also handle marketing and placing that line.

Because Beacon Hill is exclusively an environmental agency, we work with a select group of top environmental carriers and underwriters that we trust to provide the best coverage. Working only with these carriers enables our team to get to know the coverage forms and endorsements inside and out – we regularly review new forms and discuss them extensively to make sure we are aware of as many details as possible. Our team members can answer many day-to-day coverage questions, but our close relationships with our underwriters also means that we can work with them as questions come up to get additional clarification or to resolve coverage issues that aren’t straight forward.

Our in-house underwriting division, PartnerOne Environmental, gives us another advantage. The PartnerOne underwriters and processing team work closely with the Beacon Hill Service Team to provide the fastest possible response time for questions and to turn around endorsements as quickly as possible on accounts written within this program.

Beacon Hill knows our accounts and our policies well, and our Production Team works from the start to make sure that we address most typical concerns when a policy is first written. We try to provide the most commonly needed endorsements automatically, and we address each insured’s needs as carefully as possible before coverage is bound.  But we all know that changes or new requirements happen after binding for nearly every account we work on, and our Service Team is here to help you address those as quickly and easily as possible.
